Our global commitment is to reduce water use in our breweries around the world by 25% by 2020.
In our UK breweries and cideries, to achieve this, we’re working to improve the water efficiency of existing machinery - and installing modern, efficient technology where possible.
In 2015, we used 19% less water than we did in 2008 to make one hectolitre of beer. Our water use was 3.4hl/hl – down 5% from 3.6hl/hl the previous year.
